Two white or bamboo cards, normally $60 $52 — Free tracked shipping See the cards

For restaurants, cafes and bars

Your menu, one tap from the table.

A card that sits on the table and opens a page in your colors — your menu, your ordering link, your review page, as buttons that say what they do. Change where any of them goes without reprinting a thing.

$30 for one, $25.00 each at 10+. No app for you or for them. Shipped within 24 hours.

The thing it replaces

A QR sticker that opens a PDF is not a menu.

Most places already have one. It was printed during the pandemic, it points at a file rather than a page, and on a phone that file arrives as a document to be pinched and dragged around in the dark. It also points at whatever it pointed at in 2021, because changing it means reprinting the sticker.

The two problems are separate and only one of them is about codes. A code is fine — this card carries one. What is not fine is a link that cannot be changed and a destination that was never built for a phone held at arm's length over a table.

So the link lives apart from the card. The card is printed once; where it points is a setting, and the page it opens is built for a phone because that is the only thing that ever opens it.

After the tap

Buttons that say what they do.

Not a web address. Somebody tapping a card at a table should not have to read doordash.com/store/14882 and work out what it is.

MENU

Wherever your menu actually lives

Your own site, a hosted menu, a page you update on a Tuesday. If it has a web address it works, and you can change it to a different one at lunchtime.

ORDER

Your ordering link, whoever it is with

Your own ordering page or a delivery partner's. When you switch partners — and most places do — you change one field instead of every card in the building.

REVIEW

Straight to the review box

Your Google review link, opened at the one moment somebody is actually pleased: when the plates are cleared and the bill is settled. See how to ask without it feeling like a favor.

Add your phone number, your address and your socials underneath and each one is a press too. Your logo goes at the top, your colors behind it.

Where it goes

The placement decides what it should open.

  1. On the table

The menu, and ordering if you take orders at the table. This is the one that earns its place every service — and the one to order spares of.

  2. At the counter or the register

The review link. Paying is the moment goodwill is highest and the phone is already out.

  3. In the bill folder, or the takeout bag

Reviews again, or ordering — a card that leaves with somebody is a card that can bring them back.

More on this in where to put a tap card, including the placements that do not work.

What a set costs

One per table, and a few spares.

The rate is set by the total across the order, not per design — a bar card and a table card count together.

Cards Each Total from
1 $30.00 $30.00shipping free
2–9 $26.00 $52.00shipping free
10–24 $25.00 $250.00shipping free
25 $23.00 $575.00shipping free

Order any number up to 25 — the rate is set by how many you buy in total, and the best one is $23.00 a card at 25, the most one order holds. More than that? Request a quote and we will price it properly. Free tracked shipping, no minimum. A printed back — a message, or instructions for the recipient — is included. A larger venue, a group, or cards set up individually? Email [email protected] and we will price it at the same rate.

What restaurants ask

What happens when somebody taps it?

A page opens on their phone with your name at the top and two or three big buttons under it — Menu, Order online, Leave a review, whatever you choose. Each one is labelled the way you want it read rather than showing a web address. No app, no account, nothing to install.

Do we have to build a page?

No. We host it and you fill in three boxes: what each button says, where it goes, and your colors. Add your logo and it sits at the top. If you would rather the tap went straight to one link — your own site, an ordering page — it can do that instead.

Can we change the links later?

Yes, any time, for free, from your account. A new delivery partner, a seasonal menu, a different review page — the card in the holder points at the new thing without being reprinted. That is the whole reason the card and the page are separate things.

Is this just a QR code?

It is both. Every card carries a QR code as well as the chip, because the two fail in different places — a tap is faster and works in a dim dining room, and a code works on a phone with NFC switched off or held by somebody who has never tapped anything. You are not choosing.

Will it survive a table?

These are printed on the same plastic a bank card is, so a wipe-down is fine. They are not indestructible and they do walk off in coat pockets, which is the honest reason to order a few spares rather than exactly one per table — at 10+ they are $25.00 each.

How many should we order?

One per table, plus the counter, the host stand and a handful spare. There is no minimum. 10 cards work out at $25.00 each ($250.00), 25+ at $23.00 each, and orders check out directly up to 25 — a larger venue or a group is a quote away at the same rate.

Can each table point somewhere different?

Yes, but most places do not want that. Order the set and email [email protected] if you need particular cards set up separately — a bar card that opens the drinks list and a table card that opens food, say.

Can we put our own artwork on it?

Yes — upload your own design and it prints edge to edge, or start from one of the layouts and put your logo on it. The QR code has to stay readable, so the designer will tell you if a code has been shrunk past the point where a phone can read it.

How fast does it ship?
